Guts snapped under this pressure, hitting his lowest moments in volume 23, where he forced himself upon Casca… “The dream he’s chasing so genuine and extraordinary, that the burden must be immeasurable” Wasn’t it Casca who told Guts a few years ago that Guts does not know what it is like to feel the extreme pressure caused by pursuing a dream? Notice the parallels between Guts and Griffith. Anyway, I’ve noticed a couple of parallels to Golden Age Griffith and Conviction Arc Guts:Įspecially the line “But what grows is the pressure not to die” There is no way that Guts’ sexual assault on Casca will be ignored if Miura doesn’t address this in some way in the next few chapters I’d be very disappointed. This isnt gonna be a “Gattsu did nuffin wrong” post, just something to consider future developments between Guts and Casca.
